Open Position

Electronically create, design, and develop print ready graphic design and artwork ranging from one color to multiple and four-color projects. Prepare art and job layout for material to be printed or digitally imaged based on client’s job requirements and specifications. Proficiently utilize multiple visual software programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PDF and be familiar with layouts and graphic fundamentals. Perform pre-press file preparation functions to ensure file quality is correct for output to the proper digital device specified. Responsible to assist in the making of signs and graphics projects, to operate equipment; plot vinyl, print wide format images and graphics and laminate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create beautiful visual images that accurately capture the client’s concept
• Create and design graphics, illustrations, sketches, layouts for digital or print platforms
• Collaborate with customer and sales team member
• Proficiently create images and work within a wide range of media and graphic design software programs

· Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy and production requirements

• Identify, match, select colors, fonts, images, and layouts
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and can be produced into a quality product
• Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects
• Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines
• Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Determine complimentary products and messaging for graphic design pieces
• Provide proofs, correct for errors, adjust design per client’s specifications/request
• Implement feedback and changes
• Enhance knowledge and skills through continual learning and expanding knowledge and proficiency with design programs, graphic design, and print

· Communicate verbally or in writing instructions/information necessary to produce a successful end product

· Review production layout(s) as needs, collaborate on improvements

· Log and record projects

· Maintain a clean and orderly work space
