One of the most commonly used materials in the signage industry is vinyl banner material. Vinyl banner is an affordable, durable, and versatile signage solution for temporary signage needs.
But what type of vinyl banner material is best for your project? Banner material comes in a variety of weights, anywhere from 8 oz. to 18 oz. and can be printed single- or double-sided. The heavier the weight of the banner generally indicates the more durable and long-lasting it will be. Banners can be easily customized to have pockets for pole mounting, grommets for hanging, and wind slits or mesh holes for high wind areas.
Banner is a great application for indoor or outdoor use, small- or large-scale. Banners can be attached to buildings for an oversized signage solution or attached along fences for a message that wraps around a property line.
Although banners are a great solution for temporary signage, cities may require permitting for the banner depending on where it will be located and how long the banner will be on display.
