Going to the wall and then some, Image360 creates multiple donor recognition panels and displays in time for a grand opening.

Challenge

In the summer of 2015, Catholic Community Services of Western Washington was slated to open its new Nativity House in Tacoma. In addition to offering permanent housing to those who are homeless and disabled, the facility would provide job-skills training, substance-abuse counseling and mental-health assistance.

While much of the funding for the $16 million project was from tax credits and grants, a significant portion came from private donations. The staff at Catholic Community Services wanted to know if their long-time source for signage -- Image360 -- could create donor walls to acknowledge these benefactors.

Solution

Image360 leapt at the chance to work with the staff at Nativity House. First up was a large wall measuring 15' wide by 10' high. It featured stand-off acrylic panels that highlighted the names of donors. The facility’s logo in vinyl applied to the wall behind the translucent panels provided a distinctive watermark effect.

Another donor wall offered another challenge as well as another opportunity to impress!
This one —measuring about 15' wide by 5' tall—was crafted in dimensional letters of copper laminated over acrylic that, when routed, showcased the name of the family foundation that provided major funding for the facility.

Success

In addition, the sign maker created a smaller inspirational display of Biblical quotes from pre-spaced vinyl lettering mounted on a hallway wall behind acrylic stand-off panels. Meanwhile, a dozen other panels featuring uplifting messages or original artwork rounded out the new Nativity House’s interior dècor.

The effort earned resounding kudos! The donor walls and displays drew rave reviews from the hundreds of guests attending the facility’s grand opening. What’s more, the folks at Image360 cemented their relationship as the “go-to” graphics, signage and displays team for Catholic Community Services.

Around the clock... and beyond! The team at Image360 also gained applause for outstanding service. Final installation of all walls and displays required a crew of three technicians, each working a 26-hour shift.
