FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (August 13, 2013)— Local business owners Chuck Black and Lynn Elsasser held a grand opening and ribbon cutting on August 8 for their Image360 center, located at 501 N. Andrews Ave. Formerly Signs By Tomorrow - Fort Lauderdale, the company recently underwent a brand transformation to reflect the changing needs of the visual communications industry.
The open house attracted over 125 people, including business clientele, chamber executives and local officials. The event included a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by Fort Lauderdale Mayor John P. "Jack" Seiler.
“The Image360 brand better reflects the work we have been delivering to our customers for the past nine years. We consistently provide a comprehensive package of services that includes strategic counsel, graphic design, digital and print integration, signage and large displays,” remarked Black. “We thrive on being able to take a complex idea and deliver ‘wow’ graphics, signage and displays.”
The grand opening event was the culmination of months of hard work and an initial soft opening, which began July 27 with participation in the semi-annual “Revel on the Block” and the monthly FATVillage Artwalk. Image360 – Fort Lauderdale is located in FATVillage, a highly successful arts and technology district in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Signs By Tomorrow – Fort Lauderdale, now Image360, has been active in the FATVillage Association since the inception of artwalks 4 ½ years ago. At this month’s artwalk Image360 - Fort Lauderdale featured their work on “Art in Public Places” (traffic signal box wraps in Fort Lauderdale, Dania Beach, and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea). The initiative has been a partnership with Fort Lauderdale’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA), the Fort Lauderdale History Center, the Broward County Transit Authority, and the cities of Dania Beach and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Image360 – Fort Lauderdale is helping beautify Broward County by wrapping traffic signal boxes in downtown areas.
“Wrapping the traffic signal boxes is an extremely cost effective way to showcase public art,” Elsasser noted. “We are proud to be a part of such a wonderful venture.”
A husband and wife team, Black and Elsasser relocated to Fort Lauderdale 10 years ago and opened Signs By Tomorrow – Fort Lauderdale. Both have been extremely active in the community since their relocation. Black serves on the Chamber Board, the Riverwalk Trust Board and is an Area President for Navy League. He is on the Mission United Committee to help veterans rejoin the work force and re-assimilate into the community as they return from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Elsasser is active in the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and is a member of the City of Fort Lauderdale’s GreenWorks committee. She also served on the branding committee to help create Image360.
